Members scud133
If they're anything like the 50th Anniversary Strats (which were the perfect mix of old and new) then they should be a hell of an instrument. Anyone actually gotten hands-on with one?

Members sxyryan
I just saw a picture of one... The lack of three saddle bridge disappoints me. I'm sure it's quality though. The 50th anniversary strats were sweet.
Members Angry Tele
Ive only seen pics...at least its doesnt have that huge gaudy 60th sign on it the last ones did. Supposedly those had killer pickups and were great Teles, but I just couldnt hang with that 60th emblem. These look like 52RI with a modern 6 saddle (yet brass) bridge and a tophat switch, which IMO is pretty failtastic. Wait a year and they will blow these out for cheap! Members scud133
the top hat switch is enough to make you not want to buy it?
Members StevenJM
the top hat switch is enough to make you not want to buy it? well if you replace the switch you lose all resale value. just kidding, i think they look pretty sweet. i don't mind the modern bridges. i think the vintage ones look sweet, but the modern ones do the job just fine too. Members Angry Tele
^^^yeah THAT I saw another one of the 60th teles, but it had a barrel switch. Still dont like, they have american standard bridge(fail), Fender OV pickups(not bad), a 3ply wbw guard(fail), thinskin finish (poly base=fail), modern tuners (fail), 9.5" MJ frets (meh) for the money ($1300) Id look at 52RI, 52 HotRod or Nocaster.
