Members billybilly Posted November 15, 2012 Members Share Posted November 15, 2012 I have this strat, which sustains like none other although it can sound a bit thin. I use it for lead as it cuts well but rarely use the middle and neck as they almost sound acoustic. Anyway, I had this phatty bridge lying around and wired in the neck of this strat and it is so good its ridiculous. It actually had a V60 from Bryan in the neck before the phatty but the phatty is way better for this guitar. It's brought it to life, its thick and clear, not really P90 like, just thick and clear. It's wound to 11k too. Weird but I love it. Might have to try it out in my number 1 when the honeymoon wears off. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
