Members Bbreaker
I saw a white blonde Gibson SGJ today. Kinda liked the finish look..........clear satin white blonde over mahogany. It's an SG on liposuction. Hence the $599.00 price tag. Didn't play it but picked it up. Rosewood fretboard.......or is it 2 pieces of spliced rosewood? Henry J could be trying to f$$k with me. Seems heavy for an SG. Anyone play one?

I think during a re-fret the fretboard is heated to loosen the glue from the frets...........so what happens to a spliced rosewood fingerboard????I think this is why 5 piece necks are so difficult in doing a neck reset.
