Members murtaghstyle
So say you combine an fuzz face clone with the octave up of this pedal, can it sound like the infamous tycobrahe ocatvia? or is it a completley different monster? Members Arjae
Set the jumper to Mode A and it nails it as far as I am concerned.
Members badmuddy
the short answer is YES!!!!!!!!! and that's just the tip of the iceberg! dave has built this thing very intelligently. if you roll back the internal trimmer for the gain on the upper octave, & then (here's the clever part!) miix the upper octave with the dry signal's pot, it actually gives any fuzz you place after it something BETTER to grab on to, so to speak. the upshot? MUCH better intelligibility, especially when playing more the 1 or 2 notes. because of the inclusion of the dry signal, you can also do what a flender or a scrambler can do, but much better because YOU get to choose the fuzz you want to use! in fact, i've been using the dry sig as a slight boost for other fuzzes & overdrives, & then mixing in a hair of upper, & sometimes lower, to get the fattest sounds you've ever heard! it's mind-boggling the amount of things the ocky can do! and yes, you will be able to NAIL an octavia! easily...ml
