  1. SMF (Sound Machine Factory) 15 WATTER by Mark Sampson & Rick Hamel, this one was personally spec'd to 24watts (clean) by mark; IT'S LOUD!!! 2 x EL84 (telefunkens or mullards in there now), 5 x 12ax7a & 1 x GZ34, it has 2 channels that are footswitchable (clean & overdrive), THE most LUSH, 2 control ('verb & tone) spring reverb i've ever heard, and it's most prized feature, the "Sonic Hatchback," a backpanel that opens from partially to wide open, for a more fender-style, open-back cab, to fully closed, for a marshall-style, quadbox response (tight, chest-thumpin'bass!). they only MADE 300 of these original, sonic hatchback combo's, & the value of this thing will continue to go up, and MAINLY because they did such a stellar job with it's design, while retaining what Sampson is/was famous for in his original Matchless, then for Bad Cat, and now his own Star Amps; the Vox on steroids sound!!! it's a stunning sounding amp (MUCH better than the Bad Cats!), and it also takes pedals REALLY well! it originally sold for $2100 (i am the original owner), and with the original, Sampson-made Matchless' goin' through the roof on ebay, these original SMF's will inevitably follow. prefer local (nyc) transaction as the amp is heavy, & i don't know if i can deal with the logistics of shipping it - $1400, trades will be entertained, i.e., guitars, mic pre's, fulltone tte, echoczar/angelbaby... http://www.wcrclips.com/clips/xroad_clp.mp3 ml
  2. MADE IN THE U.K., 4-5 mos. old, in mint condish (no velcro), priced to go. http://www.calypsofx.co.uk/Calypso%20FX%20-%20Whirligig_files/Sample%202.WAV http://www.calypsofx.co.uk/Calypso%20FX%20-%20Whirligig_files/Sample%203.WAV http://www.calypsofx.co.uk/Calypso%20FX%20-%20Whirligig_files/Sample%204.WAV $175/shipping & ppl incl. ml
  3. Toadworks Redux in original box, in great condition except for the bottom (previous owner put on a large piece of velcro, & then tried to remove it unsuccessfully, but any goo/gunk remover would take care of it), hence the price. it's a great delay, VERY warm, and it REALLY shines in an amp's fx loop! i HATE to let it go, but i HAVE to ... $155/shipped/pp incl ml SOLD!!!

  5. it's so noizy from all that room noise; i hope scotty's not debuting it that way. he does have a "royale" he's doing a short run of, even as we speak. what he described to me sounded like an overdrive that would please a whole lot of players, and from all backgrounds. i've been waiting on this one for almost a year! ml
  6. comes with an in-depth manual and AC cord. This one space 19" rack mount unit works great (left rack ear is tweaked a little, but can be easily bent back), and there are NO operational issues. Simple straight ahead operation. Tons of features and hands on tweaking. Runs in mono, stereo or tri output modes w/ normal slow/fast and a brake mode. kool multi colored mode lights on front. Has bypass, rotor acceleration, top/bottom rotor balance and mic emulation etc... this unit is the best leslie sim i've heard to date! the only coloration to your tone (NO TONE SUCKING!!!) comes from the pre-amp tube (12ax7)! put a mullard or telefunken in there, & this thing will sound absolutely stunning! and turning up the drive knob produces a really gorgeous, creamy overdrive. also has a footcontroller/exp pedal out, and an out for a 3-button fs (stereo/tsr plug) for slow/fast, brake, & bypass (like the digitech fs-300). $200/shipped within the U.S./lower 48) ml
  7. it's well worth the wait! it's an incredible box, and tonally exquisite. i'd kill for one, myself... ml
  8. Digi-Tech RPM-1 Leslie Speaker Simulator, in-depth manual and AC cord. 9. haha, scott, you only have 4 posts! damn! no donkey to thwack away at, though... ml
  10. Digi-Tech RPM-1 Leslie Speaker Simulator, in-depth manual and AC cord. This one space 19" rack mount unit works great (left rack ear is tweaked a little, but can be easily bent back), and there are NO operational issues. Simple straight ahead operation. Tons of features and hands on tweaking. Has a very nice sounding 12AX7 tube section that warms up the instrument signal with or w/o the Leslie sim engaged. Adds some cool, very realistic overdrive too (well, it WOULD, wouldn't it... it's a bloody TUBE preamp!!!). Runs in mono, stereo or tri output modes w/ normal slow/fast and a brake mode. kool multi colored mode lights on front. Has bypass, rotor acceleration, top/bottom rotor balance and mic emulation etc... Live or Studio. Works for guitars as well as organs and keyboards. this unit is the best leslie sim i've heard so far! the only coloration to your tone (NO TONE SUCKING!!!) comes from the 12ax7a! put a mullard in there, & this thing will be absolutely stunning sounding! it also has an footcontroller/exp pedal out (you can just use a volume pedal & guitar cable if you want!), and an out for a 3-button fs (stereo/tsr plug) for slow/fast, brake, & bypass (like the digitech fs-300). $265/shipped within the U.S./lower 48) ml
  11. http://www.gig-fx.com/ seriously, if you wanna talk about in a league of it's own, this panner leaves everything else so far behind in the dust, it ain't funny! i'm surprised no one's mentioned it yet. ml
  12. just hold on to yer hats a bit longer; the pro analog "maggie" should be out this summer/fall, an analogue recreation of magnatone's vibrato circuit used in their amps. ml

  14. i was told he also replaces the a/d/d/a converters & clock to pro recording quality; if THAT'S the case, all bets are off! that's your $1100 right THERE, & barely. ml
