Members JorisBlack
I'm planning on buying a voodoo lab pedal power 2 plus, but I was wondering: can I power my Whammy 5 with it? I saw Phil's review, saying it can, but has anyone actually tried? (pedal power max output for one connector is 250 mA, and whammy 5 current draw is apparently just 15 mA or so more). Members TehSuperFox
Usually companies will overrate their pedals' current draw, and there are some people in this thread on TGP that have powered it from the PP2+ with no problems. http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=1105825

The current draw on the Whammy 5 is 265mA max... so you're right - it's really close. Close enough to work reliably with a 250mA power source? I can't say either way - unfortunately, I don't have a Pedal Power 2+ here, so I can't test it for you. Sorry.
Members fractal
You could always get a current-doubling cable from Voodoo Labs to make sure.
