Members Mr.scary96
Anybody have any tips on building them? I am attempting a vero layout for a Mosrite Fuzzrite clone. Tips on cutting the board and all that other good stuff. Thanks
Members BrentMpls
For cutting I'd just use a xacto knife and snap if needed. A dremel or saw would also work great.
Members H.R. Shove and Stuff
Xacto knife along both sides of where you want it cut. Put the scored line along the edge of a table and break it off. A Dremel causes a lot of bad-for-you dust. When making the cuts in the strips, use a drill bit and twist it by hand. Once you see the copper traces are no longer touching, give it a few more twists to make sure. When your doing the cutting, mirror the layout on the computer so you don't have to flip back and forth, increasing your chance of cutting the wrong copper line. Worst case you'll fry something, but with just a slight difference in value you'l just get a minor different in output signal/sound, if anything at all. Someone more knowledgeable should comfirm/correct that though, I'm not much of a electronics expert myself.
Members H.R. Shove and Stuff
It all depends on what the function of the resistor is and how far off your value is for what is stated.

Members lefort_1
Put two of those 220K's in series (end-to-end) and you'll get 480k, which is well within 5% tolerance of 470K.
Members Mr.scary96
Thank you for the info. The mindless drones that work at the RadioShack messed up when I asked for a 470k after I already was given a freaking 4.7k before and now they give me the wrong ones yet again. Members Mr.scary96
Oh and what does "Fuzz 1" and "Fuzz 3" and "Volume 1" mean? Does that mean it goes to the lug of the potentiometer it needs to go to?
