Members Battlemode
So I have this EMC old head I have some questions about. The front says EMC Gemini, so I assume that EMC is the make and Gemini is the model. It's a six channel pa head that sounds pretty good on guitar. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about these? I'm mainly looking for how much power they put out (so I don't end up wrecking any speakers). The only thing that's written on the back is above a power outlet, where it says 117V Outlet, 300W. Does this mean the amp is 300 watts or what? Thanks for any help!
Members greg apocalypse
Yeah, probably 300 watts total. No impedance or anything?

Members OverDriven
No...if it says 117v 300 watt outlet, that means you can run something else off that outlet that draws up to 300 watts at 117 volts, which is equivalent to 2.5 amps. That has nothing to do with the output of the PA head.
