Members Norton666
{censored} ME I really want to give a proper whirl to that amplifier. Most of the clips sound incredible. There are a few though Some kids have parents with WAAAAY too much money

Members Sixtonoize
Most crazy over-compressed amp ever.It makes a brickwall limiter look dynamic. Cool tones, just too compressed for my tastes.
Members Norton666
The reviews are definitely mixed on this amp . Some folks say its the best amp in the world and others cant stand it.
Members Marshredder
Channels 3 and 4 are very compressed, I wouldnt use them for much other than hi-gain leads, but channel 2 has a gorgeous crunch and channel 1 has an almost piano like clean, I really like that amp. Members Holy-diver
Of all the amps I have played there have only been a couple I couldn't stand.Framus cobra and dragon, jvm, and vh4.

What about it couldnt you stand? I didnt like the Framus stuff at all either , so maybe our tastes are similar
Members Holy-diver
It didn't sound similar to the framus at all. Framus cobra has this subwoofer bass and sounds really brittle to me, and the dragon is a big dark mess. The vh4 is really cutting, and has zero dynamics on its gain channels. It is obscenely compressed, in a way that you cannot dial out. It sounds nasally to me, and it weighs a {censored}ing {censored}load.
Members xcml5
Of all the amps I have played there have only been a couple I couldn't stand. Framus cobra and dragon, jvm, and vh4. It was that Crate cab that it was on at GC (if you played it in the GC in Hollyweird). It is still compressed as hell and I am not a huge fan after playing one recently, but then again there are some killer tones to be had in it. IDK, I like my Herbert and was considering getting a VH4 to try but that compression makes me step away.
Members Sixtonoize
In my experience, if you really like the VH4 tone, but don't like the compression, the closest amp I've heard is a Fortin Bones. It gets the tightness and that crazy hi-fi density to the gain, but responds much more dynamically to your pick attack than a VH4. You lose a lot of flexibility, though. Members Zeppelin Rules
That's an amp that's never done it for me in terms of the clips I've heard. Then again, I don't really play much metal these days, so I like loose, open amps.
Members Holy-diver
That was the first I played, and it was a b52 cab The second one I played in rancho cucomonga, through the fl cab (matching) and it sounded the same, although not as fizzy. It mainly preference I suppose, some like the flat compressed tones of the high gain.

It's cool when you can really get into all 3 instruments separately and then as a whole.Actually my fave toanez of his is the actual song "Aenima". Has no idea what it was though. Dual Rec and Superbass, mostly. Probably another amp or two thrown in for color.
