  • Marshall DSL 100 watt Head effects loop issue/question

I have a Marshall DSL 100 watt Head circa 1998.  I am the original owner.

I have started to use my effects loop for timing pedals - chorus and delay instead of  direct in line.

What is the difference in using either?

One way will sound good, and the other will sound like S.H.I.T.

yes---last gig i used the loop and it mudded up the sound more - but it could be because of my circuit board issue right now ---going to run direct at this point
