Members phudthumper
I am sure this has been asked plenty of times and I think I know but I just wanted to be sure. I am looking to buy a cheap solid state amp head it says "4 OHM MIN" and I have a 16 ohm cab. It should be ok to use the two together correct since it is 4 ohm "min", right? I use to use a small fender combo that was 8 ohm min on my 16 ohm cab and it was fine.
Members Mr.Grumpy
Yes, you'll be fine. No problems...With a solid-state amp you can always run more ohms than the amp is rated for safely.
