Members Josh Savoy
I'd like to spend under $50, but I need two 15" speakers for the low end of my two speaker cabinets. 8 ohm impedence.

Members Josh Savoy
I meant $50 each, sorry. I'm going to go the Eminence route, I can get them on eBay for around the price I have set. This'll build two 3 way mains. One 15", one 10", and a bullet tweeter. I PM'ed you with some questions though if you could help.
Members abzurd
Hmmmmmmmmm. There are several threads about this. Here's the short story. 1) If it's cheap it will not sound good 2) You will probably spend more than you thought you would 3) In the end, a commercial box will sound better, look better and be cheaper. - Also, your configuration sounds a bit suspect. A 10" mid?, a bullet tweeter? You aren't going to have much control over direction or how far it will throw. It might work if you know what your doing, but considering cost is the concern of your post I think you may be in over your head unless you just have some free wood and misc parts laying around an you are doing it purley for the heck of it, save your pennies and get a real box. - Just my (and others) opinion.
