Members Al Poulin
I have used the Peavey impulse 1015 and it is an outstanding cabinet. Very good sounding out of the box and very high power handling. Peavey Impulse 1012 and 1015 feature Black Widow woofers with 4'' voice coil (very high power handling). I own a pair of NX55Ps but have not heard the powered version of the Impulse cabinets so can't do a direct comparison. If you tell us what you will be using the cabs for and if they'll be used stand alone or combined with subs, we can help you a bit more. The NX55Ps are superb performers but best paired with subs IMO. If you compared non powered versions, the Impulse 1012 and 1015 would outperform Yorkville's NX35s but I believe they are slightly more expensive. Al Poulin - Party-Time!
