If we mic the drums or anything else, they wouldn't be. That would be small to medium sized clubs. (40 - 150 clientele indoors.) I don't think they'd be big enough outdoors or with a band that wants to be perceived as loud. We haven't played anywhere that I needed to mic my trumpet. Members DJMC Posted September 9, 2010 Members Share Posted September 9, 2010 I've used the Eon 10 g2's for several years, we have used them as PA speakers for up to 200 persons, vocals only. (light jazz or classical). More for light duty usage, IMO. My advice is to buy the PRX series of Monitor/Mains --either the 612m or 512m (for between $550 to $699 each).
