Members pogo97
I'm working on a Christmas day caroling thingy. (After mass up in the choir loft.) Piles of wonderful tunes. But the tune that has me fixated right now is "A Border Affair / Spanish is a Loving Tongue." The story is poignant if predictable, but what a great tune! and the delightfully silly "The Boy I Love is Up in the Gallery" with its grand "Loch Lomond" inspired chorus. any others come to mind? Members Shaster
Well how about a favourite tune that I'll never be able to pull off. Lowell George who's written many fine tunes recorded this one, with a I guess a Tex Mex slant. Reminds me of my days checking out Tijuana and further on down the West coast of Mexico. Very cool use of morphing time signatures and stop time and so on.
