Members MuzikB
I love the System-1M for its' unique features but I keep having problems with an intermittent popping/clicking sound coming from it when played from a MIDI keyboard. I tried playing it polyphonically from an AKAI MPK249 and an Novation Bass Station 2. The problem persists with both. The sound in question is a pad sound with the attacks just below the half-way mark so it can't be that. I already contacted RolandUS about this but haven't heard back from them and I can't seem to find anything from anybody on the internet about this problem. Members 1001gear
Disable the effects. Could be something's too hot.
Members MuzikB
None of the effects are on. The levels are just past the half-way point on my mixer as well. Use of the pitch knob doesn't generate the noise. It only does it when played from a MIDI keyboard.
Members 1001gear
Is it a multi? Are you using key velocity? Playing chords? I have an old keyboard that distorts the chorus when the polyphony/velocity is too high.
Members MuzikB
No, the System-1m is incapable of multi layering. Yes I am using key velocity and playing chords. No FX are being used.

Members MuzikB
I've formally informed Roland about it. Even sent them an audio file of the noise but they haven't gotten back to me yet. They did acknowledge receipt of my emails though. If they don't fix it in an upcoming patch, I'm going to see if Waldorf fixed their problems with the Blofeld and buy one of those.
Members MuzikB
What happens with single notes? Same thing. Random clicking and popping noises. I went the extra mile and got some High end (Gold) USB cables that diminished the problem a bit but it didn't eliminate it.
