But in the end, I'm an American, and I wouldn't trade my residency for anything. And whatever's been transfered to the flag through this administration can -- with hope -- be cleansed through a new one. However, as the years wear on, I more and more believe that the American flag should be emblazoned with ... $$$ The corporations of planet Earth run the world's major goverments. What better way to both celebrate freedom of speech and the right to criticize what America stands for in the world, and to protest this government's policies...ideally the flag stands for democracy, freedom, etc, but in reality stands for our aggression and the use of those concepts to excuse it.
