Members pighood
I had an SL2 I bought on 9/17/01...put 167,000 miles on it. Its trannie was audibly showing its age. Net price of the new steed: $15,200. 0% @ 36 months. Best, I found out what my credit score was.

Members pighood
But... Do you ever wonder whny the auto makers all come to the car shows with these awesome concept vehicles, but then the crap they make for us lowly consumers looks like the same old blah-blah car?Wow, when did you pick up the tranny? How old is he/she, and does he/she mount directly on the car? 1. Cars are depreciable TOOLS to be used until they're no longer useful. I never saw the point of using them as a status symbol/babe magnet, especially since "babes" my age are young grandmothers. 2. The tranny didn't have her papers from the embassy like she promised. If I asked her/it once, I asked s/her a thousand times...green cards have no adhesive backing/coupon borders. Sheesh!
Members pighood
good? bad? I got dibs on the TI!!!! 1. Let's just put it this way....I didn't need to substantiate income or show paystubs. 2. {censored} no. 3. See #2.
Members mildbill
Are they still doing the 'no bargaining' pricing? When Saturn first started up, it was supposed to make buying a new car easier - just go in and pay a low sticker price (not so low anymore tho). And: did you have any trouble with the one you've got now?
Members XorAxAx
After a comment like that, you are also going on the ignore list. Congratulations. I'm honored! Now I feel like somebody. Good ol' Swardle is going to miss out on my random nuggets of knowledge, such as the fact that during sleep, a human will produce a demon in gaseous form roughly 50 times per night. Even Swardle has these demons.

And: did you have any trouble with the one you've got now? My car-guy friend told me the Saturn story a while back. Apparently when they started, they really were an outstanding company what with all the counter-traditional, consumer-friendly business practices. Also apparently, it was not long before the reality of corporate American and human greed set in and turned it into just another car company. This is what my friend told me. I don't pay enough attention to such things to know.

And: did you have any trouble with the one you've got now? 1. Yes. My 2007 ION2 is actually less expensive than my old 2002 SL2. I had a 60 month note @ 4.9% & made the last payment in October 2006. 2. Ummm...what?
Members realtrance
But wouldn't you really rather have an Acura RDX, an SUV with active torque transfer technology, for cornering really fast (in an SUV, remember)... and a turbocharged engine... er.... it's a wonderfully mixed-up concept that if I had total money to waste, I'd be intrigued to own just so that old babes with their walkers could mutter as I torque-transferred by, whooshing along at 27mph with my turbo-charger......
