Members Forcefield
Hey everyone,I just purchased a Korg Micro-X not too long ago. It's my first synth and I'm still learning how to do everything. I was just wondering if there's a way I can record a drum track to it, and then play it back and be able to play different programs over it. I'm only wondering because I plan on playing live, but I will be playing by myself, no band members. Thanks in advance for any help.
Members flat earth
Ive not much experience with the Micro X, but from what ive read, the Dual arppegiators are programmable on most of the Korg romplers, so you should be able to create a percussion Arp, and play along with it. Members keybdwizrd
I haven't done it myself, but if you go into the Micro X editing software that came with the instrument - click the GLOBAL button in the top left corner, and then the Arpeggio Pattern tab. A whole screen pops up that looks like it allows you to edit any of the existing patterns that are in the unit - looks like there are 250 that can be edited/used. Members Karma1
As mentioned, you can use the drum patterns and tweak them, although you can't actually "record" a drum pattern on the Micro-X. But it's an awesome little synth - have fun exploring with it.
