Members Yoozer
I raise thee, thread, from your home amongst the dead! And now there's a keyboard version. -Fat Moog style filter -Velocity sensitive keyboard -CV/Gate outputs, so can be used as a 1V/octave CV controller keyboard for your modular system -CV/Gate inputs to voice circuit so can be controlled by an analogue sequencer or similar -All jack sockets are 6.35mm (1/4" 'big' jacks) -Mod Wheel -Pitch Bend Wheel -Performance section (mod wheel control of LFO2 - i.e. vibrato/wahwah) -Pure vintage style inspired design -Lots of blue LEDs! -2 VCOs with Glide/Portamento and Sub-VCOs. -Plenty of modulation routing possibilities. -Extra tone controls and circuits for more sound variety e.g. LFO, CrossMod. -Rugged steel construction -'vintage' wood design. -Spun aluminium topped knobs -LCD for MIDI set-up editing -MIDI In for software sequencer control of CV/Gate -MIDI Thru -MIDI Out: pitchbend, mod wheel, velocity and note data is transmitted. http://www.analoguesolutions.com/

Members Logicat
I have been looking for infos about the Leipzig synth for months, but there are few. It's like a poor man's Little Phatty, but it looks sooo cool to me...The only bad thing is that, apart from the 3 audio demos on Analogue Solution's web page, the only other (ugly) audio example i found is at the bottom of this small review : http://www.musicradar.com/gear/all/keys-synths/synthesizers-compact-synthesizers/synthesizers/leipzig-161249/review ...And it's not so impressive (to me)...Moreover, the other 2 demos in that page won't work But i like the Leipzig so much (super-easy interface, immediate programming), should i have to buy it to know how it sounds actually ? Members Purity_Control
i wasn't too impressed with the demos... and there are lots of older monosynths that sound better that you can still get for a lot cheaper than this...

Members Don Solaris
And every synth is just the same, isn't it? Why certainly!!! Didn't you know that? Lots of blue LEDs!
Members raffor
Actually, it has a velocity keyboard with CV1 and 2 out. That is a nice feature. Not sure if I would like the crippled envelopes though? Very nice are the two modulation busses (actually 3 of them, when you count the LFO). Members ChristianRock
Minimoog. She didn't just say better, she also said cheaper

Members kayvon
Not sure if I would like the crippled envelopes though? +1. I think i'd prefer the ADS envelopes off the original Minimoog. Legato portamento wouldn't go astray either.
Members Purity_Control
Which ones would you recommend, Purity? well i've owned several monosynths, roland sh101, korg micropreset and 700s. sh101 i didn't care for that much and they're 'collectable', but the other two are very very good bang for buck, esp. the 700s. wouldn't care to comment on anything i haven;t owned, but i'm sure theres plenty of old monosynths out there for
Members ChristianRock
Cool, thanks. Yes there's a lot out there but I don't really know what's good and what's not, what's reliable and what's not.
