Members pix
I'm replacing the keyboard guy in the departmental band and I'm debating whether I should take my laptop with kontakt + coptroller or if I should just buy a used workstation to lug around... the idea of gigging with my laptop is a bit scary... I'm still deciding which way to go but if I take the workstation route, which of the workstations is the best working in loop mode? - for me this would be more important than the details about the piano sound or whatever...because I could use it in the studio together with all my x0x gear. Members pix
hey man thanks! I was thinking better and I'm going to try and go with kontakt for now. It just seems much easier to make a multi per song with all the sounds and fx mapped out to the keyboard. I'm a newbie when it comes to gigging so I'll probably realize the not so good aspects of doing things this way very soon. But for now it seems the best option. Members pix
just want to pull this back up. that's exactly what I had in mind. An MPC in keyboard format with some sounds thrown in. I don't know why they never did this. Now that they have the alesis fusion sounds this seems like a no brainer. otoh how's the sequencer on the fantom g?
Members ChristianRock
How about this? Not MPC style, but a groove box + 61keys.
