Members Neet
I looked at the review of this piano and got mixed feelings. Is this a good piano for $500 or should I get something like the Casio Privia PX-330 for $699?
Members pinkfloydcramer61
What are you going to use it for? If for playing live, the fatness and "cut-ability" of the Yamaha P series is hard to beat. My band shared the bill with another band at a huge, packed room last weekend. The other keys player was using a P85 and it kicked serious butt. I was told my P120 sounded great, too- but I suspect not quite as bright (for solo playing I enjoy a darker sound). Members Neet
I just want to learn how to use the piano, most likely home use overall.
Members mrcpro
You should be able to score that PX-330 for a lot less than $699 if you snoop around the internet. I have played them both and prefer the 330.

Members Diametro
GC was selling PX330 for $560 new in box this past weekend ... over now, though ... I prefer the PX series (including the PX130 which is nearly the same as 330) vs. P-85 ... Though if I were gigging with it, I'd A/B at GC or some such through a PA or big keyboard amp to hear it through outs vs. on-board speakers ... Also, of those three, only PX330 has L/R outputs ... the others have headphone jacks only ... Furthermore, P-85 has old-style MIDI in/out whereas PX series uses USB MIDI ...
