Thrown off a little by "7 new banks each of wave sequences and drum kits to match the new program banks." And "Kronos Version 1.5 adds seven more User Banks each of Programs, Wave Sequences and Drum Kits, numbered USER-AA through USER-GG." You can never have too many sounds (or synths). Now you don't have to choose which sounds you want to write over to add all the FREE expansion banks available at the korg forums and other sources. Members McHale Posted February 2, 2012 Members Share Posted February 2, 2012 The update was to provide more banks. Out of the box, the Kronos program banks are full (plenty of combi banks). This update gives us AA-GG of empty banks for more user data. The update also provides support to install the new sound libraries that are available (with more on the way). To use those new libraries, you now have banks to load the associated .pcg files into so you don't have to overwrite anything. There are lots of other new advancements and fixes in 1.5.0.
