Members blue2blue
Hello, Dejan This sounds very clean and well performed. It sells its melodic framework well -- it's easy for a guitar instrumental to get lost in soloing -- but you establish a fairly strong musical identity for the song before you get into the guitar explorations. You have a very nice feel on the guitar. Some people might feel like this song is "time-stamped" by the guitar techniques of earlier eras (the harmony section reminds me of my lost not-quite-youth in the 70s) -- but others like them as classic moves. Very nicely done.
Members dejankuki
Hey, B2B thanks... this is a such stimulating critics.I am kind of stucked to this "time frame" ... but i'm feel comfortable...I play guitar over 25 years, mostly with local/amateur bands... mostly 80's covers. This tunes are just to express myself like "what is on my mind" Thanks! Hope that someone else will like this!
Members blue2blue
The 80s are back! One of the hot bands of the last few years in the states has been Interpol -- a current band from New Jersey (here in the States) who sing 80s songs with more or less brit accents and sound like Joy Division with a little Psychedelic Furs thrown in. So, you know... there's room for all eras in the big, boiling stew of pop music!
Members guysmy
its well structured and clean. it would be cool if you either got a vocalist onboard or experimented with guitar synths so the melodies aren't always a straight up guitar sound. Ok, my friend suggested me to make little cover-merging-colaboration He's doing PSY, and I play guitar (rock/shreding) and this what was came up! on this link you can hear what this look like ! Hope you like "the new me" joking!
Members Nick*
Damn man, you can play guitar! Tunes sound great, and are backed up by some nice bass. The 25 years of experience really shows. Good job!
Members boomboomdrums
I listened to Sun. I like it. Ignore the other persons advice about getting a vocalist. Stick with what you like. I'm glad to see that someone else besides me does instrumental rock around here. It would sound better with real drums though I think (totally IMHO). I'd be up for it if you ever wanna give it a whirl ... The guitar and bass stuff is very cool. Reminds me of some of Jeff Beck's cooler stuff like "There and Back" and "Blow by Blow". Keep up the good work.
Members dejankuki
Well.. first !!!! THANKS again to anyone who listen my songs.. As I said, this songs are more like "what is on my mind" rather then "hey, listen, I'm recording an album" Anyhow, I was trying for this tunes be the best I can in my home production.. I said that everything was MIDI and then I used samples accept guitar! So, Drums, Bass, Synths, pianos...and everything was mainly Reason, and similar programs, plugin and VSTi's. Only true is my 6-strings Slammer By Hamer with ZOOM 3030 and later M-audio Black Box plugged directly in my audigy sound card. Main reason for my songs are wordless is that I can sing or write lyrics... ok lyrcs I even may write... some rhymes here and there, BUT SINGING is forbiden to me BY LAW (joking) but it's true, I can't sing. Second ... I like instrumental just because I want to guess what is on someones mind when he/she played some song.. and try to visualise what is on his/her mind in that particulary momment. So I also have some visualisations of my song... mostly some happy momments and feelings.. so that's the reason why I do the instrumentals too.. Then again... I will use my Roland GR-20 in some future works... just to my songs be more interesting.. but I need some time... for finding the right instruments that I will use... And also to compose something new... and I hope more interesting. Thanks again to Nick* and boomboomdrums for leaving comments here... averyone else, feel free to comment either bad or good... @boomboomdrums... I don't think that I will work on impoovement of this songs... but for some future songs... I may ask you... if you are still available. Also if you need some guitars or some guitar solo in your tunes, I will gladly record some ... you have my skype and MSN accounts right below my avatar
