Members shnoogumz
my band is doing a cover of Front Row Metric so I tabbed it out and recorded a quick demo on garage band. there's no drums, the bass is really quiet 'cos my mic's {censored}, and I'm not the singer for my band so keep all of that in mind... Front Row if anyoe wants to listen to the original, it's on Metric's myspace page
Members blue2blue
Hi shnoogumz! I'm afraid posting songs for critique in the Songwriting Forum is restricted to original works in progress. We don't normally give performance or production critiques, anyway, for that matter, so we really wouldn't do you much good. As mod, I'm going to have to lock this thread. One place you might want to consider floating your track for critique is the mix review BB at Home Recording Magazine's Mix Clinic: http://homerecording.com/bbs/forumdisplay.php?f=15 Like any review/critique oriented forum, it looks like you'll do best if you get to know folks there, offer reviews of others works before (or at the very lieast, simultaneously while) posting your own track for critique. I can tell you from watching this forum that folks who just blow through looking for a quick bump of some kind, whether they're genuinely looking for constructive criticism -- or just think they've found a clever way to generate page higher DL counts -- are looked at with sometimes nakedly unfriendly skepticism.
