Well, OGP, so far, you're not missing much yet on the HC SW Forum FB Outpost... but it's got a lot of potential.

I'm not the biggest FB fan in the world -- but the fact that probably half to 2/3 of the people you know are on it (just a guess) could be a plus -- or a minus.

I've actually found it to be a valuable way to keep casual contact with old friends since I've been in heavy hermit mode the last few years and a number of my old friends have left So California for Seattle, Portland, the UK, even China. And I've also had a chance to catch up with old friends, too, that I hadn't seen in years. It's nice because, at least with the folks I know on FB, the responsibilities of "friendship" are pretty light.
