Making Res-O-Glass, Masonite, guitar bodies

I'd like to tinker with making a Res-O-Glass or masonite guitar. I've searched the internet here and there.

There are some building guitars like the Old Dano-Style with masonite or wood, but finding information on Res-O-Glass has been scarce.

My questions:

Is Res-O-Glass a resin? What type(s) of Resin are Res-O-Glass? A DIY'er ought to be able to make a Res-O-Glas body at home? Any useful links?

Its just fiberglass with a fancy name

Shouldn't be too hard to make one at home, you'd have to make molds for each side of the guitar.
