PLEASE HELP WITH STRAT "FREEFLYTE" BRIDGE

I have an '83 Strat with a Freeflyte bridge. I'd like to change the string tension using an allen wrench in the whole on the top of the bridge but I'm concerned that it will ruin the intonation. This thing plays, feels, and sounds incredible but getting the intonation right is a pain job and I don't want to have to go through that process again.

Does anybody know if changing the string tension in this way will change the intonation??

the string tension changes when you change the pitch ie tune the string. Is the allen adjustment for changing the spring tension of the vibrato? Seems more likely. The intonation may change a bit as the bridge is set at a different "float" point. If you really need to change things perhaps a tech who does this stuff endlessly would be the best person to do it.
