I've always liked recording acoustic guitars with my LDC in omni. Love the sound. Open, natural sounding. But sounds awful awful because my living room sounded awful. Enter RealTraps. I surround the "back side" of the microphone with two MiniTraps. The acoustic guitar is about two feet away. Beautiful. Effin' beautiful. Takes that awful room sound away while still allowing me to record in omni. I've done two recording sessions in about ten days with acoustic guitar.
