Members Dash OH drummer Posted February 28, 2003 Members Share Posted February 28, 2003 I am working on my footspeed and endurance but the beat which max's my metronome is 216 bpm. I think the best bet is to go to a music store...look at one thats not too expensive that has some good features...and see how high she goes. It not only will help you to hear what a 32nd sounds like, but also sextuplets, etc. It's very easy to crank up the met. and play along, but you are just reinforcing 16ths or triplets, cut it in half and work out faster divisions of 4. Members cavalier302 Posted March 1, 2003 Members Share Posted March 1, 2003 My metronome can only go up to 208 bpm, but after i maxed that out i set it to 16th notes, and set the bpm at 52, which is the same thing as 16ths on 208bpm.
