I had a friend record vocals...but we'll see how it goes. Some of you may remember my much older drum sounds. They were what you would call...not so happy. Anyhow...look for the whole song (hopefully) done this week. Wooo. Drums...sound gud? My friend came over to do vocals...I hated the first track (the sound), so as he was sitting there I recorded to the CD again (NOT a click track). That was the first take. There were no train wrecks, so I kept it. When I post something that's recorded to a click...and is off...feel free to rip it to shreds if I go off time. This, I'm not so concerned about. Members ulank Posted January 5, 2005 Members Share Posted January 5, 2005 I listened to it a couple nights ago but didn't get a chance to respond. From what I recall, the kick could use some "oomph." The snare was decent, I'd like to hear it in a mix though. The toms were probably the best part of it. Overall, kinda dry. Needs some sparkle and life, but the clarity is good.
