Members rca Posted February 22, 2005 Members Share Posted February 22, 2005 Counting the lugs is a good indication of how good the drums are. Even low quality kick drums have eight lugs. Those have six. They advertise 12 lugs, but they are adding 6 in the front and six in the back to get 12. So that makes them really bad. Less lugs saves money, but then you can't tune a drum over 14 inches in diameter properly with only six lugs. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
