Slingerland chrome-over-brass snare...

This drum would be pretty good for that but ther are some questions...he's replaced the snares with non Slingerland parts. And he mentions pitting but does show any pix. I's be skeptical on this deal especially with it already being at 100.00... I think I'd pass if it were me... It's probably a good drum, but I'm skeptical...

If the snare comes with the original stick saver rims (for rim shots) go for it. I used Fiberskyn batter head and what a fat bright sound with little overtones. If you play rock that has a heavy back beat or funk this one will do very well. Fat and sweet and can cut through with very little or no miking. This looks to be a mid-late 1970 model.
