Members the DW
Went to see Hancock at the theater last night. It was great!! "...call me an asshole, one more time...." I almost fell out of my chair during the scene where he gets confronted in prison. It was worth the price of admission for that one scene!

Members cheeseadiddle
Check out Step Brothers. Laughed my ass off all the way through. But I sympathize with movie watching procrastination. I just saw Grindhouse a couple weeks ago.
Members Drumming4Him
I have yet to see Step Bothers myself, but I heared one of the brothers tea-bags the other brother's drumset. I want to watch Hancock.

Members Darten
Hancock was funny, the scene where he asks the female cop if he can touch her was priceless..... hundreds of bullets flying around, and he stops to be PC.
Members willhaven
2/3 of the movie was funny... the last 1/3 was pretty much garbage.
Members Watchdog
Anybody watch "The Strangers"? Turns out the house that it was filmed at is a couple miles down the road from where I live. Movie kind of blew.

Members Carminemw
i saw it the other day also. i think we are the only 2 people who waited this long to see it. Wanna bet! I never go to the movies any more...just wait for the DVD. Admission way too high, popcorn and candy outrageous, and to many people talking. I am waiting to see it as soon as it comes out... Members Cross Eyed Mary
Pineapple Express was atrocious. I definitely don't feel like a square for not smoking grass anymore.

Members Cross Eyed Mary
Depends, to ME it blew, most liked it. I found it atrocious and a sad attempt at making a buck at the expense of sad little people who need weed to form an identity. Have you ever seen that jackass with the shirts with pot leafs on them, the 420 banners on his myspace profile? He's the guy that makes his identity from his drug, "but i'm a pothead brahhhh hahahah!". This movie was made for these people, the writers and execs knew they'd feel OBLIGATED to watch because, once again, "i'm a stonnnnerr brahhhhh hahaha!". And stoners just HAVE to see stoner movies, it's the stoner thing to do. Bah. It just saddens me to see something that helped fuel the counter culture turn into something as dumb and fratboyish as Bud Light. So overall it was decent, but the mixed bag of emotions just ruined it for me.

Members Cross Eyed Mary
So it's the Up In Smoke of 2008.I'll take a pass. Sort of, but not quite. I'm not sure Up In Smoke was meant to be a quick cash in, i think it was more or less a comedy that had loads of pot in it. Back then grass was everywhere, a "stoner comedy" back then would've been like making a "computer comedy" now. Cheech & Chong was a classic, Pineapple Express was a {censored}ty knock off. Members cheeseadiddle
Actually, Up In Smoke was pretty much the first of it's kind. There had been a couple movies that had people smoking a joint or two in them, but the movie's topic wasn't dope.
