Saluda Nemesis Cymbals

I finally got some sound clips of my Nemesis cymbals up. Right now I just have the sound samples, no video or song. I am expecting my Glory ride next week so sometime after it arrives I will do my best to get some more clips up.

Cool sample Xtra. Sounds like the wash has a pretty quick decay. Is that the case or is it the way it's mic'ed?

The samples are very accurate and "true to life", we did not doctor them at all. I hate I don't have a clip yet of them in one of our songs, we hope to do that soon.

They were miced with two Samson overheads on a stereo bar about a foot above the cymbals. Used the same stand and setup for both.

I absolutely hate the finishes on the cymbals, that they take some crap and run it to make the finish have water spots and what not.

But they sound nice for smaller cymbals. What thickness?

I requested the crash to be thin, the splash is also thin, about the same as most splash cymbals I imagine. I do not have specific weights.

I happen to like the finish. Just another example of how "personal" cymbal choices are. That is not a negative statement toward you Jarick, I know you like some of the other Saluda lines.
