Members W.bat
Hi I have been advised that the "Seth Riggs SPEECH LEvEL SINGING" lessons are really worthwhile. What are your thoughts? Thanks.
Members grace_slick
You know, I’ve read a bit about this and heard about it, but I still can’t get my head around what speech level singing actually IS!
Members solidhadriel
SLS (Speech level singing) Is basically a technique that "Seth Riggs" developed - and coached American Idol contestants who make it far into the competition - which gives you the ability to sing with your "speaking voice" per-se. Basically, the way you talk is the way you'll be singing - just instead of short phrases, they are elongated phrases of speech (when singing.) Members Bajazz
SLS is a great to learn how to sing in a relaxed way. If you plan to sing heavy metal, you need to strengthen your support, so forget about the SLS advice to "relax your stomach and don´t think about support". For heavier styles you NEED to push! Members W.bat
Ok then any suggestions on "learn it at home" tuition material. Thanks.
Members Jersey Jack
Does this ^^^ mean that you do in fact sing hard rock/metal and you've decided based on what Bajazz has said that SLS isn't right for you? If so, look up Melissa Cross and Jaime Vendera.
