I tried something new, lower vocals. I feel like I have improved.. somewhat. the reason I made this was so maybe you guys could tell me if there any improvements happening at all in here. i know the editing is pretty crappy, i have what i have though. crappy gear, anyway; Hoping for the best, lol.

Maybe a bit better. lol

Can you try singing it without doing that vocal fry/distortion thing? Some parts sound like you're almost choking.

I would practice it in a pure voice and then decide how to style it up. In this piano version I definitely think you need to make your vocals more subtle, maybe sing it more ballad like?

But overall good effort!

I haven't read the other posts yet.... but I'm betting they're saying the same thing. & I mean this in the nicest way possible. Sounds like you're "oversinging"

If you're trying to work on something.... maybe I can see it. But if this is "where you want it to be" then you're way oversinging. Your voice sounds nice, your pitch sounds good enough to me. Sing this in your voice, & it would be 100 times better. If this is an emotional song to you, that's going to translate much better doing what you can do & only getting to those outer boundaries of what you can't do on occasion.

I can't sing. So what I'm about to say is purely on what my research has led me to believe.... breath. Learn to breathe & you'll be able to get the power & projection you're looking for. Don't force it, breathe.
