The problem is that you're playing with .10s. I'd never dare to play with any gauge over .014. .10 is THICK! Kudos for bending those bridge cables a full tone!

FWIW, the Hayseeds are piece-for-piece clones of the original circuits. It won't get any more authentic. Of course, there's the wait...

This is beautiful, but, I don't know when guitars turned into furniture. Guitars are more about shape, sound and whether they make me want to play them than anything else.

Yup. Very nice. I played with a guitarist recently who had a SuperSwede, it was very bright though and sounded kinda Fenderish.
