  1. there's nothing muddy about A_str8's song u copied
  2. "You need to study the history of stringed instruments extensively as I have, you'll learn a lot about the variety that exist today and the relics they came from. " you are a cocky bitch that doesn't make sense
  3. i'm pretty much narrowed down to a Rode NTK. There aren't many on ebay. But I'll keep looking around for em. Thank you...Keep commenting if you have any other mics you would like to share or an opinion on a mic we've mentioned.
  4. But it's all different once I put my voice in a mix. I want it to kind of stick out and sound different than I would want it to sound alone so it's a hard decision.
  5. the Audio Technica AT3035 has some good reviews. Anyone have any opinions on that? or does the Rode NTK beat it?
  6. Because I don't like to sing infront of the public alone haha...hmm people say my voice kind of sounds like a mixture of the dashboard singer and taking back sunday singer. I just want a kind of poppy/emo voice, and I know that's "cliche" but I like that music and it's what I'm good at. Let me know what you think...Rode NTK? Any shures?
  7. So overall...for kind of poppy/emo kind of voices. What would you say a good condenser would be. Around 100-300 including ebay... the B-1 the KSM27, any other?
  8. I heard the B1 had harsh highs for vocals. That's basically all I need a condensor for. But you would say a B1 over a Shure KSM27?
  9. So what are some good vocal condensors you recommend? Around 100 - 300 (including ebay)
  10. Right now I am using a Firepod and just have an SM57 for a vocal mic. I also have a 58 but I heard the 57s were good for recording vocals. I was trying to get a really clear sound that sticks out like in www.myspace.com/cartel like in the song Honestly or Say Anything. I know he's using a condenser I just want to know any suggestions of what I should do to get a nice crisp good quality vocal sound. Should I get any plug-ins or good EQ VSTs and boost the high frequencies? or invest in a cheaper condenser like the Shure KSM27 or whatever it is. Let me know what you think
