Aren't most of the posts proving the original point? I brought up my own interest in their newest work with Rubin and NO ONE BIT! Nope. Most of you guys seem more interested in gossip than in their actual work. C'mon. You're all intelligent folks......... (Hey, most of you don't get excited about Tom Cruise either, so you guys gotta be smart!) The question? Why should we care? The answer? We don't. Right?

I'm not all that interested in hearing anyone's political beliefs regardless of who they are b/c I, just like everyone else, have my own way of thinking and I keep that mostly to myself. However, I AM interested in hearing their new CD since Rick Rubin produced it. I'm not a fan of every single thing he's done, but his work with Johhny Cash and Neil Diamond is impressive as hell to me. I'd love to know how he/his engineer get that piano sound on those recordings. Best damn piano I ever heard in pop music (not that I speak from any authority, mind you, just my opinion.) and so it goes...........

Don't get me started on the news, sports and weather clowns. I was a journalism/lit major. Honestly, I don't know where THOSE people were educated, but they certainly didn't attend the same classes I did. Or they were absent a lot. What passes for news copy is a complete joke, from content to conveyance. $*^$ Oh and let's not leave out referring to one's self in third person. That's COMPLETELY obnoxious. Ex: Bob Dole speaking: "Bob Dole believes......... blah, blah, blah." And, while I'm on a roll, if I never see the word 'famed' again (as in famed producer) or see the word 'penned' used as a substitute for 'wrote' (as in he penned the hit song) it will be a happy day. They are simply awful and unnecessary substitutes. Well, I shall now return to penning another hit song for a famed singer, and producer as well. It's alternative rock... :)

Oh, hell no. I'm just trying to figure out exactly what these folks are thinkin'! I haven't the foggiest.......... I guess it's all relative. As in, I used to pick up sh*t and now I drive the truck!

These are great! The one that makes me want to stomp bunnies is any reference to "the next level." As in: We're looking for a pro drummer to take us to the next level. Or: Looking for representation that will take us to the next level. Or (my personal favorite): Our new CD is really going to take us to the next level. WHAT IS THE NEXT LEVEL??? And why, for %(&($& sake is somebody or something else responsible for lifting that ever-so-deserving bunch of wanna-bes to (OMG do I have to say it??) that's right kids............ THE NEXT LEVEL. Thank you for allowing me this 30 seconds to piss and moan.
