    to me zoom drum machines have better sounding drum tones but you can create patterns and set the tempo and save it for replay and it will play the way you save it on a alesis sr16 and 18 on zoom drum machines you can save the patterns but when you play your saved patterns you always have to take time to set the tempo it wont save the tempo to patterns and thats not good for live performance
