Thanks for the replies! I changed both 12ax7s with ones that I know work, and unfortunately the problem persists. I don't know that this amp is valuable enough to take to a tech, so I'll probably try and find the bad component myself, or turn it into a desktop amp modeler, and 2x12 speaker cab. If anyone has any other ideas or tips, I'll be grateful! Best, Jeff

Hi All, I'm trying to bring an old amp back to life. My neighbors Vox works well through the headphone jack, sounds pretty good even. The Line Outs work as well, but I cant get anything to come through the speakers (after removing all other plugs from their jacks). If I plug an external speaker into external speaker jack, put it on the 2x60w mode, and crank the amp, I can get a little bit out of the external speaker, but it's barely audible. I checked the 3 fuses on the PCB for continuity. I found the service manual here. I'm handy, but this is a pretty complex amp, and Im having trouble figuring out where to start. Anyone encounter anything like this before? Thanks, Jeff
