    The Rat can sound marshall-like, but can also do a lot of other things. I've tried a Rat with a marshall a few times and it was different from the amp's drive. I'm not much of a marshall fan, but a Rat with a deluxe or super reverb is bliss. Those marshall pedals look a little flimsy compared to a Rat, too.
