I made a cover of Strawberry Swing by Coldplay. Maybe this shows my vocal range a bit more?

First post! In all honesty, I hate my singing voice and can't stand to listen to it for more than 10 seconds before I turn off the recording haha. To me it sounds monotone and forced. I've been trying to sing more and more, but I feel like I'm not improving at all and that maybe I should take vocal lessons or just quit while I'm ahead and focus more on my guitar playing instead. I'm posting this here to get critique from you guys because whenever I send files to my friends and family, they all say it's good regardless without any type of real feedback. Anyway, here it is:
