I would set my band up and play in both rooms, then pick the one that sounds/feels better to start with.

I have too many to count. I just keep reshuffling them. I improve one thing, and something else just fills that slot. It's dizzying.

I wish this were true. There is a lot of stuff going on which is not being reported. Not much value placed on the truth these days. As far as The Chicks go, it's all about the controversy. No mystery there. I think we over report controversy and under report truth. We deserve better but we don't demand it.

No, you won't get all of it. The iron is safe. Just don't put the iron directly on the carpet. I've done this.

I have a fix for wax in a carpet. I don't know about lava lamps, but if you have wax on your carpet...

Take a bunch of tissue paper (like the stuff used in giftwrapping) or something similar like butcher paper or paper from shopping bags. Newspaper will work too, but might leave newsprint behind. Place a few sheets over the mess and press with a hot iron. The paper will soak up the wax. Repeat as necessary untill you are getting no more wax in the paper.

This works.
