  1. Willie Nelson hasn't had a contemporary hit in years Because he's been too busy making great albums, like Teatro. Willie is one of the Masters. Hits are for kids.
  2. I think it's silly and overblown and contrived Add some autotuned harmonies and that describes their whole act. nails on a chalkboard over the top

  4. Cool thread. Some interesting stories about you guys. I'm getting divorced and have been separated for about a year now. Downsizing was inevitable for me. The divorce suck, but Its nice to have breathing room again. I have 3 bedroom, 700sq ft ranch witha full basement and the rooms were full. One bedroom used to be a giant storage closet, now it has a futon a bass amp, a yamaha S03, and my martin acoustic. Now, two months ago, I take off to a barbecue. Come back half a day later to find that the dishwasher line popped off, thereby flooding the kitchen, dining room, entire basement. My laundry room which had every bit of clothes I own directly below. And yes the studio. Gone. Not to mention truck loads of useless crap.. The insurance was nice. Now I actually have money in bank and have upgraded the studio significantly, with a lot less stupid stuff. Its nice to get a windfall and start over. I now have much better stuff and its all way less complicated. Because prior everything was piece mealed together I had alot of reduntancy, which has now disapeered. Now the only thing to do is redo the kitchen floors, acoustisize the basement studio, and put all the new studio gear together. Then I'll pray that somebody comes along and burns my garage down. So what does it all mean? I'm downsizing the amount of stuff I own, by GAS'ing to the extreme. Can it be true? I feel like walking proof of the Yin yang. So much postivie and negative hitting me with full ofrce right now. Yet, my playing is experiencing a creative peak.
