  1. Someone recommended Lace Sensors, which I used to love in the Fender Strat Plus guitars. I heard a video of the light blue in the neck and really liked it, so that might be the ticket there.
  2. Lace Tres Hombres. Sure is weird looking. Any try one? http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/lace-powered-by-lace-tres-hombres-single-coil-electric-guitar-pickup
  3. A Jag pickup might be cool. Might need to route the pickguard though.
  4. The lipsticks and Burns are good suggestions. I had a GFS Brighton Rock in another guitar and I thought that would do the trick but I ran some wicked microphonics. Could have been the crap electronics I was working with tho.
  5. Recommend a "unique" sounding bridge single coil? I realize that's a pretty open question. I've looked at just about everything and nothing immediately jumps out at me that I haven't looked at before. I have a MIJ Squire Bullet 1 (the one with the small strat body and tele headstock). I have some old Schaller single coils,a Duncan Duckbucker, etc. I might use for the bridge or neck. I usually play with overdrive/distortion or use a lot of effects clean. I don't need this guitar to sound like a Strat or a humbucking pickup guitar, I just want it to be unique sounding. I'd put a mini-humbucker or a Gretsch-like pickup in the neck but I don't want to deal with finding a new pickguard. Suggestions?
  6. Squier Vintage Modified Precision Bass + gig bag $200 shipped This bass is $279 brand new stock. Factory specs are here: http://www.fender.com/squier/basses/precision-bass/vintage-modified-precision-bass-rosewood-fingerboard-olympic-white/ This one is $200 shipped with a few extras included; flatwound strings installed AND a replacement tortoise pickguard (you will also get the original black one!) AND straplocks. Other than scratches on both pickguards the body looks like it's new! The body has NO scratches or damage of any kind. A really nice bass with a great neck. Very little player wear.

  12. I have a Wolfgang pickup I was told was a neck pickup. No markings on back. Slight rust on the pole pieces, 7" of lead. Good shape, been sitting in my parts bin forever. $55 shipped or trade for other pickups. Particularly interested in single coils at the moment with black bobbins.
