The high gain sounds with a good guitar are great.The trick i find is to use 2 different presets,say the rectifier on 1 track and jcm 800 for the 2nd track.You can get great sounds, also do not be afraid to stick a pedal 1st into the pod to help your sound.I always use a Keeley sd1.The medium gain sounds i prefer the jcm 800 setting with a little compression.For clean sounds the digitech rp 100 pedal or any of that series is the best for clean sounds,distorted sucks IMHO.
