  1. Guess it didn't work ^^^ whoops. Pause at 0:10'ish
  2. Not sure if this photo will work, but if it does: anyone know what any of that stuff is on his desk?

  5. Haha no "Nick Allbrook" is not a girl. 'Cos here in Perth they just hang out around the place prior to the show and afterwards, and nobody really pays that much attention to them.
  6. I had a cranked fuzz face into a cranked AC30 Wow thats actually quite a good effort. Lucidity (especially at 1:55) sounded particularly close to me. I never knew the fuzz face alone could produce that sorta sound
  7. Hate to bring this thread up yet again, but does anyone know what the little amp Dom is using in the Jeremy's Storm video for Viva radio is? I thought it was a Fender mini tone-master but on second look I'm not so sure it is Click 4:43 or somewhere close (I'm not smart enough to insert a screenshot of it myself):

  9. Summoned from the depths of this forum. Even more classic:

Haha yeah i noticed that too. Could well be the culprit

  13. Also, who's got any idea how they get that crunchy/breaking-up fuzz tone? like in Desire Be Desire Go

But 'just' pitchshifters don't make that awesome shimmery sound! I love Tame Impala. 99% sure it's the microkorg. In the vids of Jeremys Storm and Alter ego for Viva or whatever that radio stations called, there are no pedals noticeable on the pedal board that could make such a sound, yet there is a microkorg sitting on the left of Dom. As long as those were the only two songs they played, there is no other reason for the microkorg to be there besides for use with the guitar to make that sound.

I'm thinking it may be an ernie ball stereo. Also, i can't see any trace of a flanger in that picture, or in any other picture for that matter. Always wondered what flanger they use. Shoulda payed more attention on friday night as to whether it was Dom or Kev flanging during Expectation...
