I've thought about getting a Squire 51 and changing out the pickups. I'd like to put a hb-sized P-90 pickup in the bridge, but I'm not sure what to put in the neck. Would a lipstick pickup be overpowered by the P-90 pickup in the bridge? Also, which hb-sized P-90 pickup would be a good choice when trying to get as close as possible to a real Gibson P-90 sound?
